Monetary Donations: Monetary donations are used to buy books, food, clothing, provide scholarships or educational experiences. Monetary donations are used for all goods, services, and the means of getting goods to their realtive locations.
NEW! Operations Donations: Running an organization this size becomes difficult when all of the funds you receive go to goods or services. If you are in the mood to help out by donating to the operations side of the organization we would love your help! Currently we all personally dish out the money for paper, envelopes, voicemail, etc. If you would like to make an operations cash donation just make us aware so we can set it aside. We are currently collecting Appalachian recopies for a cookbook to sell online to raise Operations Funds. If you have a great recipe, please share!
Support through Spreading Awareness: Many people want to help organization but do not have the time or means. Due to the support base of Grandmas Gifts being youth, we totally understand! If you would like to donate something, then donate your support. Spread the word about Appalachia, literacy, community service, or Grandmas Gifts. While you may not think this is a donation, we consider it one and greatly appreciate and commend it!

Expertise: So, youre an expert and want to lend your brilliant mind or talent? Let us know! We are always up for a great story and some extra help.
For example, if youre a scientist and want to partner with a classroom to talk about how sweet science is, let us know and well get you in touch! Maybe youre a dentist and accidentally ordered 200,000 tooth brushes too many! Let us know, and we will find children who will gladly use them.
Time: We have events, just let us know if you are able to volunteer! We love volunteers we wouldnt exist without them!
Goods: What kind of stuff does Grandmas Gifts take? In the past we have taken items such as food, New and gently used clothes, coats, and books, Tooth paste, tooth brushes, dental floss, games, School supplies, refurbished computers, and the list goes on. We once found a home for 250 basket balls random we know, but we loved it!
Services: What kind of services can I donate? Here are a few examples to get your mind working Say you work for a printer, we are always sending newsletters, offer to help us print them. We only send 2 print newsletter a year (to 200-1000 people). Maybe you work for a shipping company, we are always sending things to Appalachia and it gets quite expensive. Even a reduced rate is an amazing donation!
