Satin is doing extremely well after recovering from parvo! Here she is hiking with her new dad in Southern Ohio! Check out that wintery view of the Ohio river. She also managed to find this giant paw print... from a bobcat! Satin was the Grandma's Gifts Wag'N Wheels project first rescue! Today, Grandma's Gifts sent the Lawrence County Dog Pound a donation of 10 Coolaroo aluminum raised dog beds worth $507.26!
(This was done per the request of Terri Douglas for her birthday!) On February 5, 2013, Patty Lou "Mamaw" Fulks Morgan of Ironton, Ohio passed away in her home at the age of 85. Her granddaughter, Morgan Webb, is a long time volunteer and Board member of Grandma's Gifts. Patty was extremely involved in the county and helped Grandma's Gifts frequently in a variety of ways. In Mamaw's memory, a donation was made to Community Hospice Inc. (in Ashland, KY) that serves Lawrence County Ohio as well as Northern Kentucky. She will be more than missed, but we know that she will continue to watch over and protect her family from above!
