McCord Middle School Students Have Trick-or-Teeth Success!

11/30/2012

Worthington's McCord Middle School students successfully collected more than 3300 pieces - tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, and mouthwash. These goods will go to Appalachian schools and health departments!

We are grateful for the students hard work, caring, and time! Out work would not be possible if we were not supported by the teachers, administrators, and most importantly the students at McCord Middle School in Worthington, Ohio.

Yesterday, Grandma's Gifts took a school's second graders to the Newport Aquarium. For many of them this was their first trip to a Zoo or Aquarium or outside of their county in southern Ohio.

Our First Rescue!

11/14/2012

My new name is Satin and I am officially Grandma's Gifts, Wag'N Wheels first rescue and placement! In this picture I am 6 months old. I was taken in as a stray by a woman who loved me dearly but was not able to let me stay. I was not taken to the shelter for my protection but Wag'N Wheels helped me find a home!

After a long stay at the vet due to parvo, I returned to good health, got fixed, and went to live with my new loving dad in Ironton, Ohio!
