We Need Your Vote: Grandma's Gifts founder Nominated for Eagle Rare Life Award

On December 5, 2014, volunteer Teresa Daulong, nominated Grandma's Gifts founder and 21 year Executive Director, Emily Douglas-McNab for the Eagle Rare Life Award.

Between now and January 6, 2015 at 11:59pm PT, we ask that you vote daily for Emily from every device you own! Emily leads a rare life in volunteering for over 21 years to make the bring together donors and donee's in Eagle Rare's backyard, Appalachia. With enough votes Grandma's Gifts could received $5,000 or $50,000! Just image how much good work can be done with $5,000, let alone $50,000!

 The website notes that some nominees are heroic and some inspirational, while others make an impact in their corner of the world. But all have one thing in common; they lead rare lives. "At the end of the voting, 7 finalists will be selected from the top 20 nominees that receive votes. One of those 7 finalists will be chosen as the Grand Prize 2015 Rare Life Award winner. The Grand Prize is $50,000 donated by Eagle Rare in his/her name to the charity of his/her choice."
